Film Producer Agreement Sample

Project Description:

This agreement pertains to the production of the film titled “Sunset Dreams,” including all pre-production, filming, post-production, and distribution activities as detailed herein.

Scope of Work & Delivery Schedule:

The producer shall deliver the completed film by ____________, following the specifications outlined in Schedule A. The producer agrees to perform services in accordance with the timeline and milestones agreed upon.

Compensation:

The client shall pay the producer a total fee of $50,000, payable in installments as follows: 50% upon signing, 25% upon completion of principal photography, and 25% upon final delivery and approval.

Rights & Ownership:

All rights, title, and interest in the final film shall be transferred to the client upon full payment. The producer retains derivative rights for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.

Confidentiality & Miscellaneous:

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality concerning proprietary information. Amendments to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Los Angeles County.

Additional Provisions:

• The producer shall acquire all necessary permits and clearances prior to commencement of filming.
• Any promotional use of the film must be approved by the client.
• Neither party shall assign this agreement without prior written consent of the other.
